On the 11th of July, the first raceday of Grand Prix of 2015 China Flat Racing finished at Rider Horse Racecourse.
Rider Horse Co., Ltd (http://www.riderhorse.com/en/) is the owner of Mongolian Khan (AUS, 2011, bay, colt), winner of this year’s New Zealand Derby (G1) and Australian Derby (G1). The colt is getting ready for Melbourne Cup in Australia.
This
racecourse (see below), designed by Technical Director of Hong Kong Jockey Club
and built by Rider Horse and the local government, is China’s first and only
dual course—turf (1600-metre) and sand (1400-metre). It covers an area of
440,000 square meter (c. 108.7 acres) and can accommodate 20,000 audiences.
The location of the course is Horqin Right Middle Banner, Hinggan League, Inner Mongolia, China and its coordinates are 45°10'05.5"N 121°29'43.5"E.
This
raceday consisted of eight races, the highlight of which is race 3—Rider Horse Mongolia Khan Derby Cup for
three-years old, 2000 metres.
While other races are open to local breeds (from
1000 metres to 5000 metres).

N.B. Horqin Equestrian Club is also owned by Mr. LANG Lin (owner of Rider Horse).
Rider 26 (see below) and other
Rider Horse’s runners only have a number is because this company owns a lot of
newly-brought horses and does not have enough time to name all of them.
