2016 BTEA Huaxing Tianci Cup Open Horse Racing (Leg 1)

BTEA organises flat races since 2012

BRIEF

On the 2nd of May, Beijing Turf & Equestrian Association (BTEA, http://bj.horse.org.cn/) organised 5 flat races open to thoroughbreds in Beijing.

The raceday's name is BTEA Huaxing Tianci Cup Open Horse Racing (Leg 1) and there would be five legs in total this year.
The last time BTEA held flat races was in 2012 while it organised equestrian competitions continuously for the past few years.

These races were hosted by BTEA and sponsored by Beijing Tianci Shengquan Equestrian Club and Beijing Jing Hua Xing Horse Industry Club (http://www.jhx-club.com/).

These races were run on Tianci Shengquan Equestrian Club Racecourse and it has a 1000-metre sand track (see below).

The purse of each of the first four races is RMB 18,000.

The winner is to receive RMB 10,000, the second to receive RMB 5,000, the third RMB 3,000.

The fifth's race is sponsored by Japan Association for International Racing and Stud Book (JAIRS, http://japanracing.jp/en/jpn-racing/jairs), and the purse is RMB 40,000.

The winner is to receive RMB 20,000, the second to receive RMB 10,000, the third RMB 5,000, the fourth RMB 3,000, the fifth RMB 2,000.

RACES

The first race is BTEA Huaxing Tianci Cup (1000 metres) for 4yo & up and it was won by Sai Yu, ridden by WANG Wenxun, owned by REN Ningning.

The second race is BTEA Huaxing Tianci Cup (1000 metres) for 3yo and it was won by Sai Yu (different from the first race's winner), ridden by WANG Wenxun, owned by GAO Jianou.

The third race is BTEA Huaxing Tianci Cup (2000 metres) for 4yo & up and it was won by Huaxing 39, ridden by SHUANG Ying, owned by REN Ningning.

The fourth race is BTEA Huaxing Tianci Cup (3000 metres) open to all thoroughbreds and it was won by Sai Kun, ridden by WANG Wenxun, owned by REN Ningning.
